Introducing Mixed Tape No.5, Rainy Afternoons & Affogatos!
Rainy season is still upon us. That is, however, unless you live in the Pacific Northwest – it’s pretty much always rainy season there. I must admit, I definitely prefer a gloomy day over a summery one. I know.. how odd for someone that lives in paradise. But the years spent living in Eugene, Oregon and Seattle, Washington were the greatest. Afternoons studying in the cutest coffee shops. Warm and toasty inside, rain falling outside. The best part.. listening to a great playlist.
With headphones on, the busy world around you suddenly goes silent. It’s as if life turns into a movie montage – the chaos disappears and everything turns into a sort of dance. You see your surroundings in a new light. The rain adds a charm to it all – everyone is now dancing in the rain….
No? Just me?
However you spend a rainy afternoon, enjoy the following playlist, inspired by the countless study sessions spent in the PNW – where I may have spent more time watching people dance through the rain than actually studying.
